The Team
Matt Chandler MRICS
Founder and CEO
Matt is a seasoned professional in the Construction and Property industry with 15 years of experience. A graduate of the University of Reading in Property and Construction, he is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Throughout his career, Matt has worked with consultancy firms, social housing developers, and private developers. He has held roles such as Commercial Manager, Development Manager, Development Director, and most recently, Managing Director of a large national property development company.
​
Matt excels in managing JV agreements with private equity and financial institutions, handling complex land purchase contracts, and overseeing planning applications. He has successfully managed construction works through various procurement methods and facilitated the sale and exit of different asset classes.
​
His expertise includes intensive asset management to drive rental growth and capital value, as well as financial planning and capital expenditure allocation across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors
Alex Nelhams
Executive Director
Alex has worked in the construction and property industry for over 20 years.
Starting his career at a FTSE 50 global professional services consultancy leading the strategic direction of multiple sectors then leaving to join a FTSE 50 developer / contractor / support services business as Pre-Construction Director on the London Board and to lead the Residential business nationally.
Since 2019 Alex has led a boutique consultancy supporting both public and private sector clients with all land and property related matters.
Richard Marchant
Non-Executive Chairman
Richard is a qualified accountant with over 25 years of senior management experience at Capita. During his 4-year tenure as Managing Director of Capita’s Property, Infrastructure, and Real Estate Division, he successfully doubled the size of the business.

Subsequently, he served as CEO of a Capita Division focused on Local Government, Health, and Property and Infrastructure. In his role as a Non-Executive Chairman, he offers expertise in growth strategies and financial governance.
Chris Nelhams
Non-Executive Director
Chris is a seasoned Senior Director with over 40 years of experience in the construction and property industry.
He began his career with the NHS and later led a management buyout of a small business, before transforming it into a leading multi-disciplinary business in the Health sector prior to selling it to Capita. At Capita Property, Chris served at the Board level, reporting directly to the CEO. Over his 15-year tenure, he steered the strategic direction for sectors such as Education, Health, MOJ, MoD, Infrastructure, and Housing.

In March 2016, Chris stepped down from Capita to establish his own boutique consultancy, collaborating with various developers and focusing on residential-led mixed-use developments. Since 2020, he has taken on several Non-Executive Director (NED) roles.
